Why the GOP is Losing

I’ve never considered myself a visionary, but 6 years ago I NAILED IT! In 2011, the Democrats were solidifying their Socialist ideology by launching the Occupy movement to carry out Obama’s fundamental transformation of America. The year prior, I saw the need for the GOP to adopt a set of principles, which carried out the vision of our Constitution. Those ideals would be diametrically opposed to the tenets of Socialism and would be easily supported by theory, history and contemporary fact. They would help Americans understand the engine that drives America’s greatness.

I drafted The Capitalism Awareness Resolution (House Resolution 422), which captured the fundamental concepts around which Republicans could rally and differentiate themselves from their rivals. With this arsenal of ideas, Republicans would have been able to highlight EVERY Obama policy, explain why it was a failure, and offer alternatives that were proven to succeed. The comparisons would have been striking, illuminating and lasting. The GOP would have created a philosophical foundation for our citizens, particularly our youth, that would have secured their support and sustained our greatness for eternity.

Think about what’s transpired in the last 6 years and how the GOP could have emerged heroic. Obamacare is failing miserably, yet Republicans just say they’ll repeal and replace it. They haven’t explained WHY it is failing and why their alternative is superior. Obama has waged a war on the energy industry to rally his supporters, while having the audacity to take credit for low gasoline prices. Republicans squandered an ultimate opportunity to shine a light on his hypocrisy. They could have spoken the truth of how Capitalism and fracking innovation is revolutionizing the energy industry, moving Americans towards energy independence and helping us beat our enemies. Obama has burdened Americans and our youth with 9 trillion dollars of additional debt, our economy is anemic, the unemployment number is fake and here again, Obama has the audacity to point to the stock market as a measure of his success. Armed with the Capitalism Awareness Resolution, Republicans could have convincingly decimated Obama’s economic policies and put forth strong alternatives, instead of punching with spaghetti arms.

Congressman Dana Rohrabacher had the courage to submit the Capitalism Awareness Resolution, but sadly, it died in committee. I personally telephoned EVERY Congressperson multiple times, followed up with multiple email campaigns, appeared on a few local radio and TV shows, but failed to enlist a single sponsor for the bill.

Today we see the tragic result of this missed opportunity and lawmakers who do not heed the advice of citizens. Rather than inspiring voters by rallying around American values, GOP pundits, lawmakers and outspoken citizens breathe abnormally fast at the prospect of penning political pejoratives over picayune Trumpisms and flounder over where Caitlin Jenner goes potty.

How the GOP Can Win

The party’s long term strategy must include the Capitalism Awareness Resolution as core to its platform. A good philosophy is essential for war with an evil philosophy (Socialism).

However, in the near term, the GOP should do the sensible thing and put forth the 2 candidates that inspire the most voters. The party that turns out the most voters will win.

Those candidates are CLEARLY Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.

#TrumpCruz is the winning ticket.
