When Americans were slaughtered at Pearl Harbor, we didn’t ask for an international ban on bombs and fighter planes. We didn’t reach out to Emperor Hirohito’s psychiatrist and implore him to increase the dictator’s medications or ask that Japan embark on nationwide investigation into mental illness. We took care of business!
We called upon the warriors of America to fight back! They responded with intense and determined enthusiasm with many volunteering for duty. They were trained, they were sufficiently armed and they destroyed the enemy with fierce and unconquerable righteousness.
Like they often do, the Left is again playing trickery with words. Where Socialism became Progressivism and Global Warming became Climate Control, now in response to bad polling for Gun Control they’re promoting “Strategies to Reduce Gun Violence.”
They’re clamoring for laws that prevent guns from getting in the hands of responsible citizens, while simultaneously attempting to cast America’s Gun Culture as yet another derogatory label. In their quest to gut the Second Amendment their goal is to lay an unearned, unjust guilt trip on those that have the courage to stand up and fight!
The Right must not yield to the Left\’s presumptive occupancy of the moral high ground. In response to “Strategies to Reduce Gun Violence,” the Right must roar with righteous phrases like “The Cowardice of Gun Control,” “The Morality of Gun Ownership” “The Necessity of Guns in Our Schools and Workplaces.”
In the aftermath of the Newtown massacre, Conservative calls for weaponry must exceed the left wing’s clamor to eliminate it. It’s time to fight! It’s time to call for training and arming parents, teachers and anyone who wants to take up the war against anyone who would wrongly use a weapon to hurt a child or any other human being. We cannot leave Americans defenseless and continue setting up our children as sitting ducks! Those children and teachers at Newtown are dead because no one was around to shoot back! Gun control is the problem!
America’s “Gun Culture” is a culture of safety from madness and freedom from tyranny! We need guns in the hands of responsible and well trained citizens in our schools, our workplaces and the public at large. We need a culture of “Reading, Writing, ‘Rithmetic and Weapons Training.”
