How to Lose an Election

Imagine if Bernie Sanders promoted a political ideology that has killed over 100 million human beings. Imagine if Hillary Clinton viciously attacked and harassed all the women whom her husband was accused of molesting or raping, while she postures as a champion for females the world over. WAIT! What’s to imagine?! This is reality! Where are all the condemnations from Democratic pundits, lawmakers and voters? There are none and there never will be. Democrats never attack their own, even when it’s easy and justified. Never a back will turn on a Democratic candidate by other Democrats. Democrats will goose step over your dead body if another Democrat murdered you.

Take a glance at what’s happening on the Republican side. Donald Trump, a man with an amazing track record in business and solid ideas on how to fix our nation’s problems, is viciously attacked by GOP pundits, lawmakers, former Presidential candidates and a host of other “teammates” because they don’t like his style, and it truly is all about his style. Any notion that it’s about substance is misguided for some critics and sanctimonious for others.

What Donald Trump has said and proposed does not rise to the level of assault brought upon him by those pictured above, and a host of other same party members, who would better serve their audience by acting like coaches and not executioners. Donald Trump is an honorable man with a far greater record of achievement than failure. The benefits he’s heaped upon society deserve a response of gratitude, not scorn. Those who don’t support him have the perfectly legitimate alternatives of extolling the virtues of their preferred candidate and/or focusing their amazing acumens, said sincerely, on the horrors that will be brought upon the American people if Hillary Clinton is elected.

Rather than giving Ms. Clinton an endless stream of soundbites to defeat him, it’s time to act like team players and get behind the guy who may very likely be the Republican nominee. He can be a good President. Else get behind the candidate one does support and level all attacks, with extreme vigor, against Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
