Leftists figured out long ago that in the world of politics, words speak louder than actions. Saul Alinski codified the Progressive playbook to take over America in his “Rules for Radicals.”
Since then, his followers have systematically bombarded anyone who blocked their path to power with verbal assaults and accusations of racism, sexism, homophobia and wars against youth, women, minorities, elderly and the poor. Freedom loving, would be defenders of the Constitution were caught flat footed, erroneously believing their policies and actions would triumph in Victorian fashion.
Don’t misunderstand. Actions are the ultimate judge of a person or nation. However, in modern times, Democrats have sold their souls and adopted toxic words instead of virtuous actions in their quest for power . Unfortunately, they achieved many victories. It took a brash, courageous, unapologetic real estate developer from New York City, to turn the tide of tyranny.
Against insurmountable odds, Donald Trump defied the corrupt media giants, Republican Party royalty, and the formidable, Clinton controlled Democratic juggernaut. He marched steadfastly to Presidential victory on the inspirational vision that American could be great once again.
Along the way Mr. Trump was called a racist for declaring he’d protect our borders and enforce LEGAL immigration. He was labeled a misogynist by an opponent who destroyed women who made credible claims of rape and sexual harassment committed by her husband. He was called a clown, an opportunist and a pathological liar. The Alinskyites pull out the stops and launched ALL 12 Rules for Radicals at Donald Trump. In the end, they were roundly defeated. How did Donald Trump do it?
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Trump was never intimidated by power.
RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” He turned the tables and forced the Democrats to go outside their expertise.
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” He kept the ball in his court, always controlling the narrative.
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” This backfired on the Democrats, because Trumps rules were America’s values.
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Trump was impervious to ridicule. A lesson for all Republicans moving forward.
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” Trump succeeded in making the Democrats hate themselves.
RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” The Democrats dragged on the attacks against Trump, until it worked against them.
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Trump never collapsed under pressure. He thrived on it.
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Trump didn’t care about threats or actuals. He faced everything head on.
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” The only negatives that came through loud and clear were Hillary’s.
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” It was clear from the beginning that Hillary Clinton and the Democrats had no alternative to attacking Trump.
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” This only made Donald Trump stronger.
Like Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump will go down in the annals of history as a man who saved America.
In the meantime, these “Rules for Patriots” can be derived from his amazing victory.
Engage the enemies of freedom and never remain silent.
Defend against EVERY act of aggression, verbal or otherwise, with righteous truth and vigor.
Never allow yourself to be called a racist, sexist, homophobe or xenophobe because you defend American values.
Never allow yourself to be called an oppressor of youth, women, minorities, elderly or the poor because you defend American values.
Never accept an unearned guilt from those who unjustly self-anoint to the moral high ground.
Never, ever give up the fight against those who would lie, cheat and corrupt American values in their quest for power.
Mount a vigorous offensive to protect American values. Truth is on your side.
Defend the Constitution as best as you are able.
