"Voting" is a mission critical system for a country. By definition, security and integrity of mission critical systems have to be proven BEFORE they are used by citizens. Of course nothing is 100% foolproof, however for many familiar societal Institutions, we do our VERY best to "verify BEFORE trust" instead of vice versa. A few familiar mission critical systems are banking, flying, pharmaceutical drug development, surgery, home buying and baby sitting.
Voting can arguably be considered more important than many of the others mentioned, because it is foundational for a free society that makes all the others possible. To demand AFTER the fact that "You have to prove fraud," represents gross dishonesty and negligence. A voting system must be verified BEFORE trusted, starting with a fool proof voter ID system.
Republicans, Conservatives and other freedom loving Americans should never have let Leftest get away with the feeble argument that voter ID meant voter suppression.
Mail in voting will go down in history as one of the greatest scams ever perpetrated on the American people and it must be stopped.
We must have a voting system that is as close to 100% verifiable as possible or our society will evolve to a dictatorship.
Sadly, we seem to be headed in that direction.
